PRP and PRF skin serums
We offer Platelet Rich Plasma for joint injury and pain. PRP is relied on by athletes and sports coaches to improve recovery, decrease down time and provide a better healing for sports injuries. In many cases, it helps athletes recover from meniscal injuries, rotator cuff tears, ACL/MCL tears and more. In arthritis, it can help reduce the need for surgery and lengthen the time to 1st joint replacement sometimes, by years.
What is PRP: Platelet rich plasma is made by taking a vial of a patients blood, spinning it in a centrifuge and drawing off the serum fraction which contains the platelets. This is then injected into the area of injury or pain. Growth factors present in the platelets are released, bringing chemical agents and attracting healing cells to the injury for repair to take place. Combined with hyaluronic acid and stem cells, it can really create a supercharged healing cascade that can get patients rapid improvement from injury.

Does insurance cover PRP?
Many insurance companies do not cover PRP at this time. However, you are encouraged to contact your insurance company to see if they will provide coverage.
Can PRP be combined with physical therapy?
Yes it can and the two modalities together can be very beneficial following injury. We work with local physical therapists who can work with you to get you back to full strength in no time. The physical therapist primarily works to strengthen your muscles and increase range of motion/ flexibility, as well as neuromuscular exercises to improve both stability and control.
Red Light Therapy.
Photobiomodulation has been proven to improve blood flow and circulation to tissues. In combination with PRP, can really speed up the response to PRP and get patients a shorter time to function.
